How to make the camera turn on/off automatically?
Please press the switch of the car charger to connect/disconnect the monitor, and then wait for about 1-Min for the camera to turn on/off automatically. (Please note that press the power button to turn off the monitor will not turn off the camera. )

Can these magnetic wirelss backup cameras be rotated 90 degrees and mounted on the side of the vehicle?
No, these magnetic cameras can only be used as front or rear view cameras. The monitor is mounted horizontally and the image cannot be rotated 90 degrees, so the camera can't be mounted vertically as a side view camera.
